Tatts Finke Desert Race

The iconic Finke Desert Race is an off-road, multi terrain two day race for bikes, cars and buggies through desert country from Alice Springs to the small Aputula (Finke) community.

The race is the main feature in the off road racing calendar and the King of the Desert Trophy is arguably the most sought after prize, although…just getting there and back is a victory.

This unique outback event is said to be one of the most difficult off-road races in the world through remote terrain of red dirt, sand and spinifex.
